In my continuing quest to find the best supermarket options near Maplewood, I was glad to find this store. Not sure of why this store has poor reviews but my first experience was that its a well stocked store, has a solid selection, modern facilities and clean bathrooms. I asked for help 4x when I was there and each staff member was glad to help and got me where I needed to go. I found everything I was looking for including Pat LaFreida meats, which most NJ ShopRites carry but none near the selection I found here. The produce section was very good, bakery looked great as did the deli and meat counters. The parking was not an issue but I went during off peak hours and found entering and exiting the lot easy and access to the highway is great. A solid choice for those in the Maplewood/S.O. area, took me 13m to get there door to door from south east Maplewood. Last star omitted because the ShopRite of Greater Morristown has that fabulous prepared meal court, outside seating, huge brand new store and is a true high water mark (color me jealous).
Love this ShopRite it's my go to place for all food and groceries. Although they never seem to have cilantro stocked
